Project Summary
The Project aims to promote the exchange of good practices in adult education, with a particular focus on transformative learning, environmental sustainability, and responses to the challenges posed by climate change.
In a European context characterised by growing social, economic, and digital inequalities, some communities and groups of people risk being left behind by processes of innovation and development. People with fewer educational opportunities, as well as vulnerable and ageing communities, may face greater difficulties in adapting to social, economic and environmental changes.
The project considers Education for Sustainable Development a valuable tool for strengthening the resilience of individuals and communities, encouraging participation, and opening up new personal and professional perspectives. By sharing experiences and methodologies already tested in the partner countries, the initiative aims to develop effective and transferable tools that can be adapted to other contexts and different target groups.
The transnational dimension is a key element of the project. Cooperation between European organisations makes it possible to identify and build on the most effective national experiences, improve their impact, and promote their dissemination at European level. Particular attention is also given to the relationship between education, sustainable development, and the protection of cultural heritage.
Project duration: 24 months, from 1 September 2019 to 31 August 2021
